Cutting Machine
There are several types of cutting machines available, such as the Silhouette and Circuit, that let you cut out personalised patterns from paper, cardstock, vinyl, speciality paper, and textiles. Craft Knife
Craft knives, like the X-Acto blade, can be used to cut a straight line using a ruler or for freehand cutting. The fundamental distinction between an X-Acto blade and a craft knife is that the blade of a craft knife may be changed to cut through thicker materials. For complex cuts, a craft knife is not as nimble as an X-Acto.
Cutting Mat
A cutting mat is a flat mat, similar to the base of paper cutters, with a ruler grid to aid measure paper conveniently. Cutting mats are meant to protect the area you’re cutting on whether using a craft knife, X-Acto knife, or revolving cutter.
Cutting mats are self-healing, which means that any tears in the robust surface will quickly adhere back together and seal themselves.
Stamp Punch
A stamp punch is a tool for cutting out forms from paper, such as hearts, butterflies, or wavy borders. This tool may be used to adorn papers for scrapbooking, cards, or invitations.
Fabric or Craft Scissors
Aside from all-purpose scissors, every craftsman should carry at least one pair of really sharp scissors for cutting cloth or paper. Craft scissors are also available with a range of speciality blades that cut out different designs to beautify the edges of the paper, such as zigzags or waves.
